Svetlana Seifi, Honored Teacher of Russia, Dies in Nizhny Novgorod

In Nizhny Novgorod, honored teacher of Russia Svetlana Seifi has died at the age of 88. She dedicated many years to teaching. This was announced by Yevgeny Lyulin, chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Svetlana Seifi worked for over 60 years at School No. 66. The educator was also the creator of the city«s only cosmonautics museum with genuine exhibits, and cosmonauts Titov, Leonov, and Beregovoy personally visited the teacher.
«She didn»t just teach children, but opened their world to the amazing world of knowledge, where life is like an exciting film — with space flights, creativity, and boundless love for the Motherland,« noted Yevgeny Lyulin.
Moreover, Svetlana Talgatovna was the initiator of the creation of the «Yunost» camp, which was considered the best in our region for three decades.
«They say no one is irreplaceable. But this loss cannot be filled with anything. I offer my deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and close ones of the deceased. Along with me, thousands of fellow countrymen share your pain, who, as long as they live, will keep the memory of the beloved teacher in their hearts,» wrote Lyulin.
The teacher«s father, Talgat Seifi, was a famous designer. On Chaadayev Street, there is now a memorial plaque in his honor. Yevgeny Lyulin proposes to name one of the streets in the Moskovsky district after this outstanding family.
School No. 66 also announced that the farewell to Svetlana Seifi will take place from 11:00 to 12:30 on January 22 at the S. Ordzhonikidze House of Culture.
