Man dies in Novotroitsk fire from careless smoking

A 56-year-old man died in a house fire in Novotroitsk, Orenburg region, likely caused by careless smoking.

Another deadly fire occurred in the Orenburg region. This time, according to the press service of the regional EMERCOM, it happened in Novotroitsk.

A similar fire in Novotroitsk on February 1 also claimed the life of a 56-year-old man.

According to available information, a house on Lesnaya Street was on fire. Eleven rescuers and three units of equipment fought the flames: the total area of the fire was 21 square meters. Unfortunately, there was a fatality — the body of a 56-year-old man (born in 1970) was found. The preliminary cause of the tragedy is careless smoking.

As reported by 56.RU, on February 1, a similarly deadly fire occurred in the same Novotroitsk. In an apartment on Komarova Street, the body of a 56-year-old man was also found, and not only the age of the victim but also the suspected cause coincide — careless smoking.
