Heating in Kronstadt has still not been restored, even though its return was promised for January 30. In the evening, many residents continued to complain about the cold in their apartments.
The failure at the Tsitadelskaya boiler house occurred due to technical faults in the networks of «Oboronenergo». On Friday, the equipment shut down, leaving more than 300 homes without heating and hot water.
On the afternoon of January 30, information appeared about the restoration of the boiler house«s power supply and the imminent resumption of heat delivery. However, by the evening, the situation remained unchanged.
Residents are expressing dissatisfaction on social media. One of them stated: «There is still no heating and hot water in Kronstadt! The situation is not being resolved at all!» It is also reported: «First, the outage did not occur on January 30 at 10:00, but on January 29 around 19:00. Second, as of 21:30 on January 30, there is no heating in the homes; according to the emergency service, it is expected on January 31 around 14:00.»
