A collision involving two passenger buses occurred on Aviatorov Avenue in the city of Yaroslavl.

Head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin ordered the initiation of a criminal case regarding the traffic accident involving two buses in Yaroslavl. The incident, which injured five passengers, occurred on Aviatorov Avenue on the afternoon of January 18.
«The driver of the bus, while transporting passengers, did not yield to another public transport vehicle that was pulling away from a bus stop. As a result of the accident, five passengers were injured, one of whom was hospitalized with injuries,» the department reported.
The Yaroslavl department of the Investigative Committee has launched a pre-investigation check. Representatives of the company «Organizator Perevozok» (Transport Organizer) are assessing the extent of the damage and determining when the damaged vehicles will be able to resume service on their routes.
As established by the organization, the buses involved in the collision on Aviatorov Avenue were operating on routes No. 90 and No. 39.
Separately, it is noted that the day before, on the evening of January 19, another incident occurred in Yaroslavl at the crossing of Tormoznoye Shosse — a diesel locomotive and a truck collided.
