On Friday evening, January 30, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the federal M-5 «Ural» highway in Ryazan Oblast. This was reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
Preliminary information indicates that a Škoda car crashed into a truck.
The driver of the car died at the scene from injuries sustained.
«Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and an investigative-operational group are working at the scene,» the department added.
The accident occurred at kilometer 299 of the M-5 «Ural» highway at approximately 17:10. The circumstances of the fatal accident are being established.
