Omsk doctors to get apartments for 379 million rubles
The procurement process for apartments for medical staff in Omsk is scheduled to start in 2027.
For Omsk doctors, apartments are to be purchased for 378.8 million rubles (about $4.2 million at current rates). The procurement schedule has been published on the State Procurement portal. The customer is the Property Management and Maintenance Department of the Omsk Region.
Housing in multi-story buildings will be provided to employees of state hospitals who work in the region.
According to preliminary data, the search for a contractor to purchase the apartments will only begin in 2027. In 2028, 146.5 million rubles (about $1.6 million) are planned to be allocated for this purpose, and in 2029 – 232.3 million (about $2.6 million).
Earlier in Russia, a law was passed on mandatory targeted training and mentoring for doctors. Graduates of medical universities who have passed primary accreditation must work a certain period in a state hospital.
