Margarita Simonyan reveals herself without hair after chemotherapy

For Margarita Simonyan, 2025 has been a year of serious trials. After the death of her husband Tigran Keosayan, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Simonyan underwent surgery and a long course of chemotherapy, which led to hair loss and skin deterioration. Previously, she only appeared on air in a wig, but now she decided to show her true appearance.

On social media, she posted a photo with the caption: «Don»t be afraid of anything. God exists, and death does not.« Within minutes, the publication gathered hundreds of comments with wishes for recovery. »Margarita, you are beautiful. Any hairstyle suits you,« wrote follower Lana. Another user, Anastasia, supported her: »Hair isn«t hands or feet – it will grow back even more beautiful.»

The journalist regularly shares details of her personal life with her audience. Followers were the first to learn about her diagnosis and family difficulties. In January last year, Simonyan reported that her husband had experienced clinical death and fallen into a coma. The nine months spent at his bedside were accompanied by severe stress, which, according to her, provoked the development of cancer. «Never do that! Don»t click! In November, I had a checkup, and there was nothing. In December, everything happened with Tigran, and I literally grew cancer at lightning speed,« she wrote in her blog.

After the death of Tigran Keosayan in September 2025, Margarita Simonyan is raising three minor children alone. She helps her mother and mother-in-law, and continues to host the program «Ch.T.D.» (16+), a project started by her husband.
