Gurman Cafe in Shchekino Suspended for Sanitary Violations

In Shchekino, the operation of the public catering enterprise owned by individual entrepreneur L. S. Matevosyan has been suspended. This pertains to the cafe «Gurman», located at 2 Sovetskaya Street. The inspection in January was carried out by specialists from the Shchekino territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) for the Tula Region.
During the inspection, department officials identified several violations of sanitary requirements. The cafe had not implemented production control for product safety under the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system, which is designed to identify and control potential risks at all stages of food preparation to ensure consumer safety.
Some products in the establishment were accepted without proper labeling and accompanying documents, and there was inadequate control over their storage conditions.
Additionally, the layout of the premises did not allow for the correct sequence of technological processes in food preparation, and the establishment was insufficiently equipped with necessary production equipment. Employees were also found to have violated the schedules for mandatory medical examinations.
It was separately established that the entrepreneur did not submit a notification to Rospotrebnadzor about the commencement of business activities.
Administrative offense cases have been initiated against individual entrepreneur L. S. Matevosyan. This involves a temporary ban on operations under Article 6.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and a violation of notification procedures under Part 1 of Article 19.7.5-1 of the same code. The case materials have been forwarded to the court.
