Blogger from the Leninsky district Nikolai Zlydnev published a detailed instruction for preparing traditional beshbarmak, a hearty meat and noodle dish, at home.

For the dish, the following ingredients are necessary: lamb, potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, and dough.

Author of the recipe describes the process as follows: «We take fresh lamb. Cut the meat into fairly large pieces. Place in a pot with boiling water, add salt and peppercorns, don»t forget to skim the foam. The meat is ready, take it out. Pour off some broth. Place onion sliced into half-rings, salt, pepper, and simmer a bit. Peel some potatoes, send them to our broth. Cook until done,« explains Nikolai. »Meanwhile, let«s deal with the dough. 800 grams of flour, two eggs, a little salt — and we knead all this with our broth. The dough should be tight but elastic. Roll it out as thin as possible, cut into squares, and boil in our broth until done. Take out the dough, add meat, potatoes, onion on top. This is very tasty! Enjoy your meal!»
