Fluffy Milk Omelet Baked in the Oven

A fluffy oven-baked omelet is a simple yet delicious breakfast that is suitable for both children and adults. For preparation, we will need:
Eggs — 4;
Milk — 200 ml;
Butter — 1 tablespoon;
Vegetable oil — 1 teaspoon;
Salt — 0.25 teaspoon.
Prepare all necessary ingredients. It«s best to take the milk and eggs out of the refrigerator in advance so they warm to room temperature.
Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt, and pour in the milk. Mix lightly until uniform. Do not use a mixer because the omelet won«t rise. Stir the mixture so that there are as few large bubbles on the surface as possible. It»s enough for the egg white and yolk to combine with the milk.
Grease the bottom and sides of a high baking dish with vegetable oil. The smaller and higher the dish, the fluffier the omelet will be, and vice versa. Pour the egg-milk mixture into it, but do not fill the dish to the very edges — the omelet needs room to grow.
Bake the omelet in a preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes at 170-180°C (338-356°F). During cooking, do not open the oven door. The finished omelet will have a golden crust on the surface. However, do not take the dish out immediately — it«s better to leave it in the cooling oven for another 5 minutes.
After that, take it out and spread with butter. Upon contact with cold air, the omelet will settle slightly, which is normal. Cut the finished dish into pieces and serve at the table.
