The topic of child benefits continues to stir debate among Tyumen residents. Some believe these payments are unfairly allocated to certain families, while others are convinced they provide crucial support for children. We«ve studied the comments from locals and are ready to share the most interesting ones.

«I consciously choose not to have children. I understand that at the moment I couldn»t afford them. Meanwhile, I work two official jobs. Why should my tax deductions go to support children whose parents were irresponsible about conception?« — one reader asks.

«I»ve been married three times, child support: 5,000, 17,200, and 17,200 rubles ($191, $191, $191). Reality: I own my home, but have a mortgage on a house under construction — 55,000 rubles ($611) a month. The children go to a free school (village), but we need tutors and a nanny for the youngest (27,000 rubles / $300 a month). The children are in clubs. We have a car that needs maintenance and fuel. We don«t receive benefits. Question: is having children really a matter of »profit«? Or is it, as a rule, more about the opportunity to become a mother?» — a local woman shares her story.

«It»s so annoying to hear all this whining about benefits. Our parents raised and educated us without them!« — says one commenter.

«It would be better if benefits were paid to all women for a child up to 3 years old. After all, after 1.5 years there are no benefits at all,» — shares a user.

«I have a large family, 3 children, but we don»t have low-income status because my husband and I work. Because of this, we were denied benefits since our income slightly exceeds the threshold. Honestly, the benefit wouldn«t have been superfluous — for things like clubs and activities for the children,» — writes a Tyumen resident.

«We also have a small income overage. There are 5 children in the family, but there»s essentially no help. And we wouldn«t have needed this help, it»s just that a lot is written about it, that it«s provided, but in fact that»s not our situation,« — reports an anonymous user.

«I went back to work when my first child was 2 months old; my great-grandmothers helped. Personally, I don»t care about others. The state is good, but as a mother I hold myself accountable, even though the man is the financial backbone in every home. Well, if my husband and I separated, I would never file for alimony,« — a Tyumen woman reflects.

«Benefits for children should be paid to everyone,» — shares their opinion another reader.

«There are many who live on benefits and don»t work. It turns out we work and feed some cunning people, and we have our own children, by the way,« — writes a city resident.

«Only alcoholics live on benefits and don»t work. Very few normal families get these benefits approved. I, for one, never received a single one. And those miserable 19,000 rubles ($211) wouldn«t save me anyway. How can you live on that? And raise a child?» — a woman responds to other users while sharing her thoughts.

Many residents of the country note that this is one of the significant support measures when raising a child. Payments begin during pregnancy and continue until the child turns 17. We previously told you which families receive the largest payments. Read more via the link.
