Prosecutor Halts Debt Enforcement Against Deceased SVO Soldier

The mother of a deceased participant in the special military operation (SVO) appealed to the prosecutor«s office in the Moscow District. Bailiffs were demanding the recovery of over 100,000 rubles (about $1,000 at current rates) in debts from her deceased son through enforcement proceedings, as reported on the social media of the regional prosecutor»s office.
The authorities confirmed that the man died while carrying out tasks in the SVO. Following the prosecutor«s intervention, the bailiff issued orders to terminate the enforcement proceedings.
Earlier we reported how the mother of a deceased SVO participant was denied a payment by the social protection department of the Ryazan region. After the woman from Ryazan appealed to the prosecutor«s office, her rights were restored.
