In Krasnodar Krai, at the Sochi Perinatal Center, the first triplets of this year were born, as reported by the region«s health minister, Yevgeny Filippov, on his Telegram channel. A boy and two girls were born.
The first born was a boy weighing over 2.2 kg (4.9 lb) and measuring 46 cm (18 in), which are good indicators for a multiple pregnancy. The girls weigh slightly less than 2 kg (4.4 lb). For the mother, these were her fourth childbirth. The family already has three daughters.
