In Altai Krai, the rarest names for newborns have been listed based on the results of 2025. The data was published by the regional justice department.
Thus, last year boys received such unusual names as Hector, Aurelius-Augustine, Christopher Mad, Ewald, Ariel, Wilhelm, Leonty, Manuel, Raphael, and Thomas.
Among girls in 2025, Ilaria, Melita, Aurelia, Lianora, Daniela, Velimira, Patrina, and Cataleya were born.
Meanwhile, the most popular names among residents of the region were Alexander, Mikhail, Matvei, Timofei, and Artyom for boys, and Anna, Varvara, Eva, Sofia, and Victoria for girls.
