Perm Woman Appears on 'Pregnant by Deception' Show

Perm blogger Margarita Zheltysheva became a mother at 17, but her young man left her when he found out she was pregnant. Moreover, it turned out that throughout their relationship, the guy already had a fiancée. A couple of years later, the Perm woman appeared on the show «Pregnant by Deception» as an advisor and friend in «misfortune» to the main heroine of the episode. Margarita shared her story with us and talked about her participation in the show.

«Pregnant by Deception» (16+) is a Russian reality show that tells the stories of women who have become victims of deception by married men. Each episode features a new heroine. Along with her, her relatives, friends, and sometimes the father of the child are filmed. The heroines often also meet girls from other cities who have found themselves in similar situations.

Margarita met Oksana online, as she says, on a forum with girls who faced the same life situation as hers. Margarita wrote that she met a young man when she was in her first year of university; at first, they just communicated as friends. The girl shares that she still liked the young man.

«He was very handsome, kind, caring towards me,» Margarita recalls on the show. «We went for walks, drove around in the car, had sleepovers. To me, he seemed like such a super guy, responsible, caring. He always talked about how he dreamed of a family, wanted to become a young father. And his main dream was a son. He really wanted a son, always talked about it.»

«When we were together, I didn»t notice any alarm bells,« says the Perm woman. »As it turned out, at that time he wasn«t married yet. He simply lied, and they got married after I gave birth. I remembered that when we were together, he told me about an ex-girlfriend who got pregnant by someone else, and that»s why they broke up. Well, I didn«t pay much attention to it; it was what it was.»

When Oksana asked if Margarita noticed any strangeness in the guy«s behavior, such as ignoring calls, the Perm woman answered negatively. »I was wearing rose-colored glasses and thought he was such a good guy,« the girl replied.

At first, the Perm woman recalls, the young man promised to help, said he would buy a crib and a stroller for the child. However, in the end, he simply blocked Margarita on all social networks, and now, two years after the birth of their son, the guy just doesn«t get in touch. At the same time, the Perm woman says that during this time, the guy showed up at her place several times when he argued with his wife, and asked for forgiveness. Margarita thinks he was seeking some support from her.

Margarita gave birth to the child and has been raising him alone for these two years. At some point, she saw that her ex-boyfriend and his wife were following her profile on social networks. As it turned out, the young man«s wife knew everything, and she even ended up talking with Margarita.

«She told me all the details of their life, and I understood that this person is not needed by me,» says the Perm woman on the show. «Especially as a father, including as a husband... Of course, I wanted [the child], but not at this age, because I had other plans. Other goals. Actually, the pregnancy was very hard. I didn»t want to share it with anyone at all. I had just started studying, earning my own money, getting my figure in order, and right at that moment I found out I was pregnant. Then I went through the entire pregnancy alone. Also, the birth was quite difficult; I had a cesarean section.«

By coincidence, the couple moved closer to Margarita«s place of residence—now they walk on the same playgrounds. When the Perm woman accidentally crosses paths with her ex-boyfriend, he reacts very emotionally: he says that she ruined his life.

The heroine of the episode, Oksana, found Margarita«s story very sad, but she noted that their situations are slightly different—after all, Alexey promised her that he would divorce his wife. However, the man did not keep his promise. Oksana gave birth to a healthy girl, but the father did not come to the discharge, although all of the heroine»s family came. After the daughter«s birth, Alexey told Oksana that he did not intend to divorce.
