Specialists in 23 professions remain in short supply in Zabaykalsky Krai in January 2026. That is, there are more active vacancies than resumes for these professions. This was reported to Chita.Ru on January 30 by the press service of HeadHunter.

According to the hh.Index, the average level of competition for jobs in Zabaykalsky Krai in 2025 was 5.7 resumes per vacancy, which corresponds to a healthy balance of supply and demand in the labor market (4–7.9 resumes per vacancy). Overall, in the Far Eastern District, the index value is lower — 5.2 resumes per vacancy.

Nine, or more than a third of the listed deficit specialists, are among the top 20 most in-demand in Zabaykalsky Krai.
