Volgogradstat has published data on the average monthly wage in the region for the first eleven months of 2025. The information revealed a significant income gap between different economic sectors.

The highest average wages were recorded in the following activities:

  • Mining — 111,814.9 rubles (about $1,400 at current rates), which is 168.3% of the regional average.
  • Financial and insurance activities — 90,130.1 rubles (about $1,100).
  • Information and communication — 87,867.5 rubles (about $1,100).
  • Manufacturing — 82,496.9 rubles (about $1,000).
  • Professional, scientific and technical activities — 82,173.6 rubles (about $1,000).

The lowest indicators were noted in these sectors:

  • Education — 50,308.4 rubles (about $630).
  • Administrative and support service activities — 47,680.9 rubles (about $600).
  • Other service activities — 45,386.7 rubles (about $570).
  • Real estate — 44,757.5 rubles (about $560).
  • Hotels and restaurants — 42,843.3 rubles (about $540).
