New utility tariffs to rise in Kurgan Oblast from October

In Kurgan Oblast, utility services will become significantly more expensive from October 1 — on average by about 12.4% — which adds several hundred rubles to the bill. The new tariffs are presented in an infographic.

For a kilowatt of electricity in the city, the rate will be 5.68 rubles (about $0.06 at current rates), and in rural areas, 3.98 rubles (about $0.04). For garbage removal in multi-story buildings, the cost per person will increase by 15.85 rubles to 118.14 rubles (about $1). In private houses, it will rise by 13.41 rubles to 100.42 rubles (about $1).
For one gigacalorie of heating, the charge will be 3,324.13 rubles (about $35), an increase of 366.72 rubles (about $4). A cubic meter of cold water will cost 6 rubles more (about $0.06), and wastewater disposal will be 5.14 rubles more (about $0.05). Liquefied gas per kilogram will become more expensive by 6.12 rubles (about $0.06); data on natural gas is not yet available.
