Bondarchuk, Ernst, and Dolina Attend Farewell for Director Alexander Oleynikov in Moscow
A large number of famous artists and television industry professionals came to pay their respects at the ceremony.
Today, January 28, in Moscow at Troekurovskoye Cemetery, farewell is being held for the famous TV host and director Alexander Oleynikov. He passed away in his 61st year. Close friends and colleagues of the deceased have come to see him off on his final journey to the snow-covered graveyard.
Alexander Oleynikov was born in 1965 in Moscow. At the age of twenty, he began his career in television and quickly rose to become a director. He worked on channels TV-6, NTV, Russia, and Channel One, as well as abroad. In addition, he hosted the programs «My Cinema,» «My History,» «My Star,» and «Your Music.»
To Troekurovskoye Cemetery have already arrived singer Dmitry Malikov, artist Larisa Dolina, General Director of Channel One Konstantin Ernst, as well as TV host Kirill Kleimenov, reports a correspondent from MSK1.RU. Roses and wreaths are being brought to the grave. At the coffin are compositions from the Football Federation and the Academy of Russian Television.
The official farewell to the screen star began at 1 p.m. Inside, the family is now mourning the deceased. Friends are approaching the body one by one. The TV host«s coffin is surrounded by white roses.
The death of Alexander Oleynikov occurred suddenly. For the family, it was a real shock. Later it was revealed that the probable cause of the sudden departure was a detached blood clot.
