Witnesses Sought as Rostov Schoolboy Put on Preventive Register

The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case for hooliganism following the school attack.
In the Rostov region, a schoolboy who attacked the daughter of a deceased participant in the special military operation has been placed on preventive registration with the police. This was reported by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (GU MVD).
An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the boy«s parents for improper fulfillment of duties in raising and educating a minor.
«Work with the conflict participants is ongoing. Police are identifying and interviewing all participants in the incident, as well as possible witnesses. All circumstances and causes of what happened are being clarified,» the police said.
As reported by 161.RU, the attack on the girl occurred on January 22 at School No. 1 in the stanitsa of Olginskaya near Rostov. The schoolboy was waiting for the girl at the exit from the classroom. When she came out, he hit her head against the door jamb. The girl lost consciousness and fell. Other students recorded all of this on a phone.
According to the mother of the injured girl, quarrels between the children began after classmates started touching on the topic of her father«s death in the special military operation.
The Investigative Committee for the Rostov region has initiated a criminal case under the article «Hooliganism.» The case has been taken under control by the head of the Russian Investigative Committee (SК RF), Alexander Bastrykin.
