Tyumen man sentenced for blackmailing schoolgirl with intimate photos
In Tyumen, the Leninsky District Court has sentenced a young man who blackmailed a minor girl with intimate photos and videos, extorted money from her, and forced her to have sex with him. The court found him guilty under several articles of the criminal code. We report the details of the case.

According to the case materials, 18-year-old Stanislav met 17-year-old Arina in the summer of 2023 on social networks. The girl immediately informed him of her age. They corresponded for some time and met in Tyumen in October. During one of the meetings, the young people had sex. According to the girl, Stanislav, with her consent, took intimate photos and videos on his phone.
Later, the Tyumen man wrote to the girl in a messenger and demanded that she transfer money to him. The amount was small — 266 rubles (about $3 at current rates), but for refusal, he threatened to send the intimate photos and videos to her friends and relatives. The girl was scared — she knew that he really had such recordings — and transferred the money. The next day, the story repeated: Stanislav demanded 1,000 rubles (about $11 at current rates). The money was sent again. A few days later, the demands became much harsher.
But the story did not end there. The court established that on the same night, the guy, continuing the blackmail, forced Arina to have sex with him. He wrote that she «belongs only to him» and would do everything he said, otherwise the intimate pictures would be seen by strangers. In addition, he demanded 35,000 rubles (about $389 at current rates) from the girl.
After the Tyumen girl turned to the police, another circumstance came to light. On the same day, Stanislav sent the girl«s intimate photos to his acquaintance on VKontakte. The guy who received the photos immediately deleted them and asked why it was done. In response, he heard: »Just to show off.«
The court found Stanislav guilty under three articles of the Russian Criminal Code: extortion, coercion of sexual acts with a minor, and illegal distribution of information about private life. He was given a two-year suspended prison sentence with a probation period of 1.5 years. In addition, the young man«s smartphone, which he used to blackmail the girl and send intimate photos, was confiscated.
Earlier we told a similar story. However, according to the defendant, he himself became a victim of blackmail by the girl. She allegedly demanded money in exchange for not sending his nude pictures to everyone. The young man could not stand it and during an argument killed the Tyumen girl.
