Nizhny Novgorod man stabs ex-wife's lover to death in daytime attack

In Nizhny Novgorod, a man stabbed an acquaintance to death in the middle of the day. He attacked his ex-wife«s new partner near the entrance of an apartment building and killed him on the spot. The horrifying moment was caught on video, with details provided by the regional Investigative Committee.
The moment of the killing
According to the Investigative Committee, the crime occurred during the day on January 28 near a building on Kompozitor Kasyanova Street. A 31-year-old Nizhny Novgorod resident got into an argument with a 32-year-old acquaintance and attacked him with a knife. Footage from an intercom camera shows the attacker waiting for the man by the entrance and immediately starting to stab him.
The victim died on the spot from multiple wounds. The killer was quickly detained. A criminal case has been initiated against the man. During interrogation, he confessed that he killed the man out of jealousy, suspecting him of having a relationship with his ex-wife. The perpetrator will await the end of the investigation and the court«s verdict in a detention center.
