Mother identifies son's body after school stabbing
On 16 December, a 15-year-old teenager attacked students with a knife at an elite school in Gorki-2, Odintsovo, Moscow Region. According to preliminary information, one person died and four were wounded. Eight ambulance teams and two disaster medicine centers were sent to the school, and operating rooms were set up at hospitals, ready to receive the victims.
The mother of the deceased 10-year-old boy has just left the building of the Uspenskaya School. She identified her son, writes Moskovsky Komsomolets (MK). Earlier, media published a selfie of the attacker against the background of the child«s body, which was lying on a staircase landing.
In footage published by Telegram channels, the mother is seen running to the school in tears. Then she stands hugging another woman near a resuscitation vehicle.
Other footage shows the mother of the killed fourth-grader sobbing near the school building and trying to call someone. The attacker«s father said he knew nothing of his son»s plans and learned of the tragedy from journalists.
