On the afternoon of January 28, a murder was recorded on surveillance camera in Nizhny Novgorod. A man stabbed an acquaintance at the entrance of a building on Composer Kasyanov Street.
Surveillance footage shows the attacker waiting and then stabbing the victim at the entrance.
According to the Investigative Committee, a 31-year-old local resident ambushed a 32-year-old man and attacked him with a knife. The footage shows the attacker lying in wait at the entrance and immediately beginning to strike.
The victim died at the scene from multiple wounds. The suspect was quickly apprehended. During interrogation, he confessed to committing the murder out of jealousy over his ex-wife. A criminal case has been opened, and the accused is being held in custody pending investigation and trial.
