Law enforcement inspects scandal-ridden boarding house 'Paradise Corner'

On the evening of January 22, the prosecutor«s office and the Investigative Committee organized an inspection of the »Paradise Corner« boarding house on Akademika Kirenskogo Street in Krasnoyarsk. Recall that earlier NGS24.RU reported about a girl who got an internship there and ran away the same day — according to her, they yell at grandmothers using obscenities, don»t wash them, and treat them rudely.
According to the prosecutor«s office, the boarding house at building No. 32m on Akademika Kirenskogo Street is operating illegally. The owners lack the necessary permits for conducting activities and documents confirming the right to provide social services. It has been preliminarily established that the boarding house management does not ensure safe living conditions for elderly citizens, and sanitary-epidemiological norms are violated.
A prosecutor arrived at the scene to coordinate the actions of controlling and social services. The issue of temporary accommodation for 19 residents has been put under control.
The investigative department for the Oktyabrsky District of Krasnoyarsk has initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code — provision of services that do not meet safety requirements. The Investigative Committee reported that physical force is used against the boarding house residents, sanitary-epidemiological norms are violated, and elderly people are not provided with proper medical care. Investigators are working on site and conducting necessary investigative actions.
Earlier, NGS24.RU found out that the boarding house was inspected 18 times over three years, and in October 2025, it was assigned a high-risk category. But it continued to operate.
