Jealousy Murder Suspect Arrested in Rybnsk

In Rybnsk, a man has been detained on suspicion of murdering a 32-year-old driver. The incident occurred on the evening of January 21 on Lenin Avenue.

According to the investigation, the conflict arose out of jealousy. The suspect inflicted several knife wounds on the victim, who died at the scene.

At the time of the attack, the victim was behind the wheel of a parked foreign-made car. The blows were directed at the chest and neck.

After committing the crime, the perpetrator fled but was soon found by law enforcement agencies.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Yaroslavl Region (UMVD) released a video with the detainee«s confession. »After work, he came and got into the car. And then I took such action,« the man said.

According to available information, the cause of the conflict might have been a woman who was in relationships with both the deceased and the suspect.

A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). Currently, investigative actions are being conducted and forensic examinations have been appointed.

In the near future, the suspect will be charged, and the investigation intends to request his detention in custody.

Earlier, local residents reported that the deceased was heading from work to his car, and at the moment when he got into the vehicle, he was attacked.
