Father Suspected in New Details of Girl's Murder
A girl from Bashkortostan, whose mother is accused of her murder, lay in a sofa for almost a month. Her body was discovered by a cleaner who came to tidy the apartment; she noticed a terrible smell and then found its source in the sofa. It is believed that the child was killed in early October, and the body was found only on November 3. These circumstances were reported on the NTV TV channel.
It also emerged that the mother of the murdered girl, Elvira Zagidullina, had debts: she was allegedly collecting money for the child«s treatment, which was not needed. During her arrest, the child»s mother did not admit guilt and was “in an altered state”. The woman«s version is that the girl drowned in the bathtub, and she did not inflict the stab wounds.
In the program, an acquaintance of the detained woman spoke: she is a speech therapist, in Uchaly (Bashkortostan, Russia) she went to Elvira for manicures for two years, and the girl had lessons with her. The woman assures that Elvira was calm and showed no aggression towards the girl.
“I worked with her for about a year. The child was active, very curious, very positive and joyful. She always came to lessons neatly dressed, fashionable, always with her hair done. I still don»t believe that it was Elvira who did it. Their home was always so clean, the child was happy. Those who knew the mother and the girl, no one believes that this happened,” said the acquaintance.
Elvira raised her daughter alone, with help from her grandmother. The woman worked and, according to the acquaintance, “did not go out”. However, later the speech therapist noticed that something had happened to the girl, she became withdrawn, a sense of fear appeared. Elvira said she noticed changes after a trip to the biological father. During the broadcast, he became suspected in the murder, but a criminologist assures that in such cases, investigators first check relatives.
The ex-wife of the girl«s father reported that he beat her and threatened to kill her.
A resident of Uchaly who came to the program»s studio stated that many knew Elvira in a positive light, but recently she had become aggressive, accumulated debts that she could not repay.
