Today, January 29, information appeared about the detention of a police colonel and head of the department of the Economic Security Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Omsk Region. We tell what is known about Dmitry Nagibin.

The policeman was born in the Moskalenky District on May 22, 1983. In 2020, he held the position of deputy head of the department of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department (UEBiPK) of the regional police. He had the rank of lieutenant colonel.

In October of the same year, he became one of the lecturers at a webinar for Omsk entrepreneurs. The event was dedicated to the rules of product labeling. It was organized by the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Omsk Region. Dmitry Nagibin spoke about the fight against the production and circulation of counterfeit goods.

Earlier, the publication «SuperOmsk» invited him for an interview about cigarette smuggling and other tobacco products. At that time, he explained what punishment awaits those who will import illegal goods into the country.

As reported in the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, Nagibin«s case is related to bribes from owners of illegal casinos. The fact of unlawful actions was revealed by operatives of the internal security service.
