Bastrykin Orders Investigation into Bullying of 14-Year-Old Ulyanovsk Girl

Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has instructed his colleagues in Ulyanovsk to report on the progress of the investigation into an incident involving a minor resident of the city, the agency reported. The schoolgirl fell from a window of a multi-story building on Fruktovaya Street and was hospitalized with injuries. Preliminary information indicates the girl had been subjected to bullying by her peers. A criminal case has been initiated over the incident and a check is underway.
Recall that in January 2025, the father of a seven-year-old Ulyanovsk boy, who had been bullied by his classmates for a long time, appealed to the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The situation escalated to the point where the child was beaten twice, including in the presence of the homeroom teacher. The schoolboy suffered a head injury and multiple bruises, requiring medical attention. A criminal case was initiated and an investigation is ongoing.
