In 2026, bailiffs in Saratov deported 29 foreign violators from the region abroad. This was reported on January 23 by the regional department of the Federal Bailiff Service (UFSSP).

In 2025, UFSSP employees escorted 582 foreign citizens who were violators of Russian legislation to border crossing points. The reason for their removal was that the foreigners did not leave the country«s territory on their own within 90 days.

And since the beginning of 2026, 29 people have already been expelled from Saratov region. Among them are citizens of Central Asian countries and even a Cuban citizen. They will not be able to enter the territory of the Russian Federation for the next five years.

Additionally, in Balakovo, a case is currently underway concerning Turkish doctor Serhat Doguch. In 2023, he married a local resident, Polina, a student at Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. Both dreamed of becoming doctors, and Serhat already has a medical education. The couple had a daughter, registered in Balakovo, and then applied for a residence permit for Serhat.

Once, a local police officer who arrived at the registration address found only Polina«s brother at home. According to her, he did not record the explanations of the young man who tried to prove that Serhat had simply left the house. Then, migration authorities denied Doguch»s residence permit application. His wife appealed to the court. The next hearing in this case will be on Monday, January 26.
