Monro closes Karl Marx Avenue store in Omsk

A Monro shoe store branch on Karl Marx Avenue in Omsk has closed after operating since 2006, with five other locations remaining in the city.

In Omsk, the Monro shoe store at 45 Karl Marx Avenue has closed. This information was confirmed by NGS55.RU at another branch of the chain. The 2GIS service also reports that the boutique on Serova Street is no longer operating.

According to the organization«s official website, there are five Monro stores left in Omsk. They are located in different parts of the city: on 12th December Street, Zaozernaya Street, and Maslennikova Street, as well as Mira Avenue and Komarova Avenue.

The branch on Marx Avenue was the second one opened in Omsk. It started operating one month after the branch on Maslennikova Street opened — in June 2006.

Previously, NGS55.RU reported that the «Flagman» supermarket in Omsk, located in the eponymous shopping complex, is being liquidated. It stopped operating several years ago — in 2020. The liquidation procedure will not be quick. It will take approximately a year.
