JSC Krizo Plant, a manufacturer of ship firefighting systems, is facing the threat of bankruptcy. According to information from the portal fedresurs.ru, its counterparty, the company RBS, which specializes in ship repair and maintenance, plans to file a lawsuit with the arbitration court of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.

In the notification, RBS indicates that the plant has not fulfilled monetary obligations confirmed by arbitration court decisions for more than three months.

Last year, RBS has already filed three lawsuits against Krizo:

  • For the first claim amounting to over 23 million rubles (approximately $230,000 at current rates), the court ordered to recover funds for the undelivered «Krystall-M» fire alarm system, manufactured to order and prepaid.
  • The second lawsuit for 6.5 million rubles (about $65,000) concerned paid-for spare parts for the same system, which were never delivered. Krizo offered a replacement with a kit for the «KRAB-M» product, but RBS refused, and arbitration obligated the plant to return the money.
  • The third lawsuit for 2.5 million rubles (around $25,000) was related to payment for thermal energy for Krizo to MUP «Teplovye Seti» of Gatchina, which was provided by RBS but not compensated. The court also satisfied this claim.

The enterprise is located in Gatchina, Leningrad Region, Russia. According to 2024 data, the plant«s revenue amounted to 273.7 million rubles (about $2.74 million), and the loss reached 75 million rubles (approximately $750,000). 65.2% of the shares belong to General Director Sergei Bogdanov. Krizo supplies firefighting systems to shipbuilding plants in the Northwest and Volga regions of Russia.
