The Ferris wheel, previously operated at the St. Petersburg park Divny Ostrov, has been listed for sale on the Avito platform. The attraction is priced at 60 million rubles (approximately $667,000). The seller in the ad is Velikoluksky Meat Processing Plant, co-owned by Vladimir Podvalny, who is also the owner of the amusement park.
The structure was manufactured in Italy in 2013. Its capacity is 1,850 people per hour. The wheel weighs 223 tons (approximately 492,000 pounds) and stands 55 meters (180 feet) tall.
In 2025, Divny Ostrov installed a new 70-meter (230-foot) Ferris wheel made in China. Park owner Vladimir Podvalny previously explained that the old wheel was planned to be dismantled and sold after replacement. «Our wheel is many years old, we decided to sell the old one and install a new one,» he said.
