An Entire Market in Tyumen to Be Demolished

The «Yuzhny» market on Chaplin Street is being prepared for demolition. This was reported to the editorial office by one of the readers.

«According to the administration, the stalls on the street are to be demolished by the end of March, and the market building itself by the end of April. To be honest, this was an expected decision, as an entrepreneur I»m not shocked. I moved here from the Chervishevsky market. I am waiting and hoping for an offer from the owner or the market management or the city administration to move to other markets or shopping centers to work,« a reader told the 72.RU editorial board.
In a photo sent by a reader, it can be seen that one of the structures was deemed an unauthorized construction and its owner was given two days to remove it. Otherwise, it will be forcibly relocated, and the owners will be charged for the costs.
The 72.RU editorial board has requested a comment from the city administration. A response is awaited.
