Winter marathon to close Road of Life for a day

The international winter marathon «Road of Life» will take place on January 25 in the Vsevolozhsky District of Leningrad Oblast. This event will require the temporary closure of the eponymous highway to traffic.

The press service of the regional transport committee announced on January 23 that passage on the Road of Life highway from Aleksandrovskaya Street to the 45th kilometer will be impossible from 08:00 to 19:00.

Due to the closure, bus routes #462 and #513 will be rerouted via Vsevolozhsk.

On route #462 (Rakhya — Ladoga Metro Station), trips originating in Rakhya and Uglovo will be canceled. Bus departures will be made exclusively from «Vsevolozhskaya Platform». The transport will then proceed along Vsevolozhsky Prospekt and Plotkina Street, after which it will return to the regular route from the «Zavodskaya Street» stop.

Trips from St. Petersburg from morning until 18:35 will follow the standard route to the stop «Vsevolozhsk — Kotovo Pole», and then along Aleksandrovskaya Street, Plotkina Street, and Vsevolozhsky Prospekt to the final stop «Vsevolozhskaya Platform». Trips to Rakhya and Uglovo will not be made during this period.

Route #513 (Kirovsk — Vsevolozhsk) will also change. Buses from Vsevolozhsk after the stop «Sadovodstvo Alyumino» will travel along Magistralnaya Street, road 41K-319, Pushkinskaya Street, Koltushskoye Shosse, Oktyabrsky and Vsevolozhsky Prospekts to «Vsevolozhskaya Platform». In the opposite direction, traffic will go along Vsevolozhsky and Oktyabrsky Prospekts, Koltushskoye Shosse, Pushkinskaya Street, highway 41K-319, and Magistralnaya Street with subsequent return to the main route.

Passengers from the settlements of Romanovka, Kornevo, Uglovo, Proba, and Rakhya are recommended to use trains on the Ladoga Lake — Finlyandsky Station direction for trips to St. Petersburg during the closure.
