Motorists are reporting new road closures in central districts of St. Petersburg, while the Ring Road is now open.

According to traffic data, heavy traffic jams have accumulated in the city center. The most problematic sections include:
- Nevsky Prospekt towards Palace Square;
- Palace Drive and the bridge towards Nevsky Prospekt;
- Gorokhovaya Street from Sadovaya to the Admiralty;
- Bolshaya and Malaya Morskaya streets.

Drivers in online communities, such as «Razgovorchiki» (Chatters), note street closures in the area of St. Isaac«s Square and the Admiralty. There was also information about the temporary closure of Palace Bridge.
On the Ring Road (KAD), traffic has resumed, and most of the traffic jams on the southern approaches to it have cleared. However, on the outer ring, a traffic jam has formed from Sofia Street to Oktyabrskaya Embankment.
