During the evening rush hour on January 29, traffic intensity in St. Petersburg reached 7 points on the congestion scale. According to the Yandex Probki service, this indicator is one point higher than the standard load for this time.
Stachek Avenue has been showing the maximum 10 points for traffic from the center since 7 p.m. The congestion on this highway stretched from the Narvskaya metro station to Marshal Kazakov Street.
Traffic jams were also noted on Marshal Kazakov Street, Marshal Zhukov Avenue, and Leninsky Prospekt.
On the southern section of the KAD, a six-kilometer traffic jam formed: the outer ring is at a standstill from Pulkovskoye Highway to Obukhovo.
Heavy traffic continues on Sofiya Street and Moskovskoye Highway.
The Western High-Speed Diameter is congested in the northern part — from Vasilyevsky Island to Bogatyrsky Prospekt.
Traditional traffic jams have arisen on the embankments leading from the center to the northern districts, especially on Pirogovskaya and Vyborgskaya.
By 7 p.m., the overall traffic jam level in the city decreased to six points.
