Tiger at Samara Zoo Unimpressed by Gifted Fir Trees in Video
A Bengal tiger named Barfi at Samara Zoo showed fear after fir trees were placed in its enclosure, as captured in a video shared by the zoo.

As it turns out, big cats can also be afraid of something. Samara Zoo showed a video in which a tiger was clearly not delighted by fir trees.
“Fir trees were installed in the enclosure of the Bengal tiger Barfi. The tiger found itself in a dense forest and got scared,” said the Samara Zoo.
The tiger appeared at the zoo not long ago. In the summer, when 63.RU made a big photo report from the zoo, Barfi was still a cub and adorably posed for our photographer. The big cat lives on the zoo«s territory, where a farmstead was previously located.
Samara Zoo regularly publishes videos with its inhabitants. For example, during the New Year holidays, the zoo showed how the majestic king of beasts playfully chased a ball in its enclosure. Lion Altai arrived in Samara in June 2023 as a cub.
First, Altai flew by plane to Kazan. From there, employees of Samara Zoo picked him up by car. In November, lion Altai and puma Raphael moved to new, more spacious enclosures. The zoo also showed videos of how the animals adapt to the new areas.
