Irkutsk Cat Found on January 1 Awaits Adoption
The cat, discovered on New Year«s night, is very affectionate and enjoys eye contact, according to the adoption listing.
In Irkutsk, compassionate people took an adult cat from the street, which was found on the night of January 1 on the porch of an office building. Now they are looking for a new family for it.
Presumably, the cat was a pet or on free-roaming, as clarified on a free classifieds website.
«Very affectionate, tactile cat, loves to be petted and purrs all the time during contact, loves to look into eyes. Does not bite or scratch, does not jump on tables, beds, sofas», the announcement states.
The authors of the announcement suppose that the cat cannot jump — only climb. And even then — if allowed. The cat turned out to be very smart, understanding what is said to it from the first time.
The cat«s character is calm, not playful. It uses the litter box only with clumping litter. Among the drawbacks — it meows loudly when stressed.
The poor thing was shown to a veterinarian — no parasites were found. The cat is being given to a new family with tracking of its fate.
