Tyumen braces for second wave of abnormal frosts

The Tyumen region faces another round of extreme cold weather, with temperatures predicted to fall well below seasonal averages.
Meteorologists are warning residents of the Tyumen region about a second wave of abnormal frosts. Air temperatures in early February will be significantly below normal. This forecast was presented by Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center.
“In the southern half of the Urals, in Sverdlovsk Oblast, in Tyumen Oblast, both at the end of January and next week, temperatures are expected to be 5–12 degrees below normal, with frosts down to −29…−36 degrees Celsius (−20…−33 degrees Fahrenheit),” the meteorologist explained.
However, the arctic air will not linger in our region for long. After February 5, comfortable weather for our latitudes is expected in the Tyumen region.
Recall that earlier, meteorologists shared their weather forecast for the entire winter. What will the remaining two months of the snowy season be like?
