Residents of Rostov-on-Don have been complaining about cold apartments in recent days. This is reported by residents from the city center, Western and Northern residential areas. Authorities recommend that they contact their management companies.

According to standards, temperature in living spaces should not be below 18°C (64°F), and in corner rooms – below 20°C (68°F).

Antonina Pshenichnaya, Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Rostov Region, wrote in a Telegram channel that she sees complaints from residents of the center and Western residential area. Therefore, management organizations, homeowners associations (HOA) and housing cooperatives (HC) have been recommended to «strengthen control over the parameters of the heat carrier at the entrance to buildings and promptly interact with resource-supplying organizations.»

They also need to inspect residential apartments and draw up reports on poor-quality heating supply so that residents can later receive recalculations.

«Dear residents of Rostov! If your apartment is cold, first of all, contact your management organization (MC, HOA, HC) to draw up an official report. This is the basis for recalculation and the main signal for resolving the problem,» Pshenichnaya addressed the residents.

Earlier, 161.RU reported that in a five-story building at Voroshilovsky, 101 in Rostov, normal heating was not restored after an accident at CHPP-2, which occurred on December 15. Temperatures in apartments can drop to 16°C (61°F).
