Taxis in Vladivostok have been severely overloaded, with some residents unable to get home for over two hours due to a lack of buses in the city center, prompting them to seek alternative transport. Natalia told VLADIVOSTOK1.RU that she ended up walking with her child because the price on Yandex was very high, and no one accepted her order on Maxim.
«We were leaving from Sukhanova to Russkaya, there wasn»t a single bus going that way, we were ready to go with at least five transfers. The child needed to go to the toilet, wanted to eat, and started being fussy. Luckily, they let us into a store to do our business, and we walked. First we stood at the stop for almost an hour, couldn«t squeeze into two buses, then we called a taxi, it didn»t come; on Yandex the price was about 1,600 rubles (approximately $18), on Maxim about 800 rubles (approximately $9),« the interlocutor shared.
A surge in prices during snowfall and other bad weather is not new for Vladivostok. Today, most buses are stuck in traffic with everyone else, so stops in the city center are packed with people. As of 7:30 PM, prices for some routes have not decreased. It is most expensive to leave the center, with fares on addresses having tripled. Waiting times for a car range from 30 minutes in the suburbs, on Churkin, in the center, and on Russkaya;
It is easy to find a car and leave cheaply from Tikhaya to Lugovaya, back, as well as from Neibuta to Balyaeva, from Balyaeva to Tikhaya, and to Russky Island. But whether there will be cars there is unknown. The aggregator promises that on these routes there are no traffic jams and drivers are available.
