Tyumen to launch new traffic violation cameras
From January 23, additional photo and video recording systems will begin operating on Tyumen's roads. They will detect a number of traffic violations.

Photo and video recording systems will be installed on key roads around Tyumen to monitor traffic compliance.

The Tyumen Regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) announced the commissioning of new automatic systems from January 23.
“The systems will detect speeding violations, unbuckled drivers and passengers, the use of mobile phones, and driving without headlights on. I would also like to draw attention to the different speed limit controls on rural roads and in populated areas,” explained Andrey Miller, head of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
The equipment will be installed on the following road sections:
- Tyumen — Borovsky — Bogandinsky, 1st km: speed limit 60 km/h;
- Tyumen — Airport, 7th km: speed limit 90 km/h;
- Tyumen Bypass, 2nd km: speed limit 60 km/h;
- Tyumen Bypass, 6th km: speed limit 90 km/h;
- Tyumen Bypass, 17th km: speed limit 60 km/h;
- Tyumen Bypass, 23rd km: speed limit 60 km/h;
- approach to the village of Lugovoe, 2nd km: speed limit 60 km/h;
- Tyumen — Salairka, 0th km: speed limit 60 km/h;
- Tyumen — Salairka, 10th km: speed limit 90 km/h;
- Tyumen — Salairka, 18th km: speed limit 60 km/h.
Earlier, plans were announced in Tyumen Region to install approximately one hundred new cameras for traffic control.
