New flights to connect Yaroslavl and Naryan-Mar starting in 2026

Starting March 31, 2026, air service will commence between Yaroslavl and Naryan-Mar (in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug).
“For residents of Yaroslavl Region, this is an opportunity to discover unique Arctic tourism, get acquainted with the distinctive culture of the Nenets people, and see the nature of the Far North,” noted Roman Dushko, deputy chairman of the government – minister of road economy and transport of Yaroslavl Region.
Naryan-Mar is the administrative center and only city of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The city is located beyond the Arctic Circle, in the lower reaches of the Pechora River, 110 km from the Barents Sea.
The carrier will be the airline RusLine. From Yaroslavl Airport, flights will depart on Tuesdays at 18:10 and Saturdays at 11:10. In the opposite direction — on Tuesdays at 15:05 and Saturdays at 14:05. Travel time will be 2 hours 10 minutes.
Ticket sales have already started. The cost of a one-way flight starts from 8,861 rubles (approximately $98 at current rates).
Currently, planes from Yaroslavl Region fly to Sochi, Kazan, and St. Petersburg. The Yaroslavl Region government added that negotiations are underway to open routes to Novosibirsk, Mineralnye Vody, Murmansk, and Ufa.
