Moscow trains delayed, rerouted after Kirov Oblast emergency

Trains are being massively delayed due to the derailment of freight cars in Kirov Oblast. The Federal Passenger Company (FPC) reported delays for 20 long-distance trains. Among them, 9 trains are running on altered routes:
No. 91 Severobaykalsk – Moscow;
No. 1 Vladivostok – Moscow;
No. 31 Kirov – Moscow;
No. 11 Novy Urengoy – Moscow;
No. 311 Vorkuta – Nizhny Novgorod;
No. 9 Vladivostok – Moscow;
No. 131 Izhevsk – St. Petersburg;
No. 2 Vladivostok – Moscow;
No. 290 Nizhny Novgorod – Kotlas.
FPC added that reserve trains have been assigned to transport passengers.
«Train crew staff are providing comprehensive assistance and support to passengers. A comfortable temperature is maintained in the cars. Railway workers are doing everything possible to restore traffic,» the company stated.
Also, on February 2, residents of the Moscow region complained about disruptions in commuter train traffic. According to them, trains are delayed on three directions at once — Kazan, Gorky, and Yaroslavl.
