The most accident-prone intersections were identified as: 50 Let VLKSM Street – Tukhachevsky Street, Dovatorsev Street – Kosmonavtov Street, Mira Street – Lva Tolstogo Street. And the most problematic district in terms of the number of accidents with casualties overall is the Industrial District of Stavropol.

The State Traffic Inspectorate emphasizes: the causes of accidents on these sections hardly change from year to year. Among the main ones — failure to observe right of way and traffic light signals, incorrect positioning of vehicles on the roadway, entering oncoming traffic lanes, ignoring road signs and pedestrian crossings, failure to maintain distance, and driving without a driver«s license.
The editorial board of 26.RU reminds all road users: be attentive behind the wheel and at pedestrian crossings.
