Fadeyevsky Overpass Reconstruction in Krasnodar Nears Autumn Deadline

Work on the reconstruction of the Fadeyevsky overpass in Krasnodar is continuing around the clock. This was reported on 22 January by the city head Yevgeny Naumov, who visited the site.

According to the mayor, over the past month, the contractor has dismantled three out of four spans. The project is now in an active phase of reconstruction. The replacement of beams is planned to be completed by the end of April.
Simultaneously, city services are preparing to restore road markings in the airport area — they will be applied immediately after the snow melts. They also continue to monitor the traffic situation on the approach to the airport. Drivers are asked not to create congestion while waiting for flights and to use the airport parking and the OZ Mall shopping center.
Earlier, the mayor reported to Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratyev that traffic on the overpass would be opened in two lanes by 1 September. These deadlines, according to Naumov, remain in force.
Recall that traffic on the Fadeyevsky overpass was completely closed from 6 December. Initially, authorities promised to open it by 20 December, but later the deadlines were revised. The city hall stated that adjacent streets — Uralskaya, Borodinskaya, and Goryacheklyuchevskaya — are handling the increased load.
As previously reported by 93.RU, the contract for the overpass reconstruction was awarded to the company StroyYugRegion LLC. The cost of the work is 2.5 billion rubles (approximately $27.8 million at current rates). Authorities plan to complete the reconstruction by the end of 2026, although according to the contract, the work is scheduled until August 2027.
