A court has ordered StroyTrust, which is currently repairing the bridge near the TV Center, to pay 17.3 million rubles ($192,200) in debts and penalties to a company that provided specialized equipment and vehicle transport services. The court ruling was published on the Electronic Justice portal.
StroyTrust is a construction company based in Omsk. Its founder is Arman Akopyan. Net profit for 2024 was 3.9 million rubles ($43,300). Previously, it reconstructed Architects Boulevard and Leningradsky Bridge, and built a road on Krupskaya Street.
AvtoArbat LLC filed a lawsuit on October 30. The claim stated that the company was owed 16.9 million rubles ($187,800) for equipment and transport services, and additionally demanded payment of 1.4 million rubles ($15,600) in penalties under a contract dated May 22, 2025 — at that time, StroyTrust was also repairing Architects Boulevard in addition to the bridge. From late May to late September, AvtoArbat provided services worth over 32.1 million rubles ($356,700) but received just over half of that amount.
AvtoArbat LLC was registered in Omsk in 2014 and is engaged in transportation. Its founder is Sergey Zhigadlo. Revenue for 2024 amounted to 158.3 million rubles ($1,758,900), net profit — 14.8 million rubles ($164,400). In 2024 and 2025, the company participated in government procurement and provided transport services and specialized equipment to Omskgazstroyekspluatatsiya JSC.
During the court proceedings, StroyTrust paid a small part of the debt — 1 million rubles ($11,100) — to the supplier, asked for time to reach a settlement, and also petitioned for a reduction in the penalty amount.
The court did not reduce the penalty, deeming its amount justified given the long period during which the company had not received payment. The claim by the equipment provider was fully granted, and the court also ordered StroyTrust to pay 408,600 rubles ($4,500) in state duty and 30,000 rubles ($333) in court costs.
The ruling was issued on January 29 and may be appealed within a month.
This is not the first time StroyTrust has been taken to court. In late December, it became known that the company was proposed for bankruptcy due to a debt to another service provider.
