Egyptian massage therapist caught in sting operation

In Yekaterinburg, a bailiff posed as a client and booked a massage with a debtor — a man who moved to Russia from Egypt and was not paying child support to his children. Emad owed them more than 1 million rubles (approximately $10,000 at current rates).
Emad«s ex-wife, Svetlana, lives with the children in Bolshoy Istok. She told E1.RU how this happened.
He took the documents and flew back to Egypt
Svetlana and Emad were married for ten years. They met in Egypt, where Svetlana, from the Urals, worked in a hotel. Then the couple moved from Qatar to Yekaterinburg, and Emad, not without his wife«s help, obtained Russian citizenship. At that time, the spouses already had two children, who are now 5 and 11 years old.
A month and a half after Emad received his passport, a conflict occurred in the family.
“He stole the documents, marriage contracts, and flew to Egypt,” Svetlana told E1.RU. “I filed a missing persons report, applied for child support, he knew about all of this — he received notifications on ‘Gosuslugi’. And, of course, he paid nothing…. He himself justifies it by saying that he left the house, which I bought with the proceeds from selling my apartment, having paid off the mortgage single-handedly two years ago.”

In December 2024, Emad returned to Russia. Now he works as a massage therapist in one of the spas in Yekaterinburg. According to Svetlana, her ex-husband lives on Shirokaya Rechka. He does not visit the children or even call them.
“When I paid off the mortgage — he was a co-borrower, and, naturally, he has a share here,” Svetlana continued. “My lawyer and I offered him a deal to exchange his debt for his share, to which, naturally, he said no.”
Caught in a sting operation
In the Sverdlovsk bailiff service, two fines were issued against Emad under the articles “Failure of parents to fulfill responsibilities for the maintenance and upbringing of minors” (5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and “Non-payment of child support for minor children” (157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The man was caught in a sting operation when one of the bailiffs booked a massage with him posing as a client.
“For a long time, he evaded paying child support for the maintenance of his minor son and daughter and did not take any measures to repay the debt,” emphasized the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region (GUFSSP).
However, Svetlana and the children have not yet received the child support. According to Svetlana, the case was transferred to Yekaterinburg, and that«s where it ended for now.
Recall that recently, during apartment visits, bailiffs have started inviting debtors to the SVO. Another method of dealing with debtors is installing wheel clamps on cars.
