After an appeal on the direct line by the Bayazitov family from the Tyumen region, Russia may change one of the rules for issuing child benefits. The changes were announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova.

The Bayazitov family appealed on the direct line to the President of Russia. Gulnara, the mother of six children, said that she was denied benefits because the family«s income slightly exceeded the per capita subsistence minimum.

«I will focus in my report precisely on fine-tuning the system of the unified child benefit. Let me remind you that during the direct line, Vladimir Vladimirovich, the large Bayazitov family from the Tyumen region appealed to you, having lost the right to the unified benefit due to an increase in labor income over the year,» said Golikova.

According to her, the changes have been agreed upon with all necessary structures. It is planned that the approach to payments will be changed. If the average per capita income exceeds 10% of the regional subsistence minimum, the benefit will still be granted — for a period of 12 months.

Two questions from the Tyumen region were raised on the direct line. The second was asked by journalist Kristina Smirnova. She asked Putin about the space object 3I/ATLAS.
